§ 9.20.270. Collection and distribution of fees.

  • The fees provided for in this chapter shall be collected either by the Clark County district board of health, its designated and authorized agents, and/or by the licensing division of the Clark County sheriff's office, and/or by the Clark County building department, or any combination thereof, as may mutually be agreed between them, for reasons of efficiency, public convenience, economy, and accountability, subject to approval and the direction of the board of commissioners of Clark County.

    Any fees so collected shall be deposited in a special account as directed by the treasurer of Clark County.

    Each of the above named agencies collecting any such fees shall provide to the treasurer of Clark County a statement at the end of each month accounting for any fees collected under the provisions of this chapter.

    The treasurer of Clark County is authorized, from time to time, to make transfer of funds so collected and deposited in said special account, or as the same may be required by the Clark County district board of health, to its designated depository, less any costs incurred by Clark County in the collection of such fees.
