§ 7.09.110. Work identification cards.

  • It shall be unlawful for any bathhouse to employ or contract with any person unless such person holds a valid unexpired work identification card issued in conformity with the provisions of Chapter 6.10. All employees will be referred to the LVMPD for a work identification card on referral forms provided by the LVMPD. All licensees, principals, managers, and employees as defined herein, shall obtain and maintain a valid unexpired work identification card. Each work card issued shall be for one bathhouse only. It is unlawful for a bathhouse manager, or attendant/employee to undertake employment with any bathhouse other than the one identified on his/her work card. Upon termination of employment as bathhouse manager, attendant, or employee of a licensed bathhouse employer, such employee shall surrender his/her work card to the LVMPD within five days of such termination of employment. It is unlawful for any bathhouse attendant/employee to fail to surrender his/her work card within the time prescribed. In the event a bathhouse manager, attendant or employee shall lose his/her work card, it shall be the duty of that person to report the loss to the LVMPD within five days after knowledge of the loss occurs.
