§ 2.73.130. Contract auditors, consultants and experts.

  • Within budget limitations and as authorized by the board of county commissioners, the audit department may obtain services of certified public accountants, qualified management consultants, or other professional experts necessary to perform the auditor's duties. An audit that is performed by contract must be conducted by persons who have no financial interests in the affairs of the government unit or its officers. Except for the audit of the financial statements, the auditor will coordinate and monitor auditing performed by public accounting or other organizations employed under contract by Clark County.
