§ 14.10.010. Signs on vehicles in the public right-of-way.

  • With the exception of vehicles operated by governmental agencies, no vehicle traveling in the public right-of-way shall display or exhibit exterior signage in excess of the following limitations:

    (A)

    Cars, taxicabs, limousines, and all vehicles that do not exceed twenty feet in length shall not display or exhibit signs or a combination of signs which exceed a total of twenty square feet per vehicle.

    (B)

    Trucks and buses in excess of twenty feet in length shall not display or exhibit signs or a combination of signs that exceed a total of one thousand six hundred square feet per vehicle. Other vehicles in excess of twenty feet in length shall not display or exhibit signs or a combination of signs that exceed a total of five hundred twenty square feet per vehicle

    (C)

    No vehicle shall display or exhibit any signage that contains moving or flashing lights or animation of any kind.

    (D)

    The size limitations of subsection (B) shall not apply to trucks engaged in interstate commerce which are not licensed in Clark County or any passenger motor carrier subject to the jurisdiction of the Nevada Public Service Commission.
