§ 10.32.030. Poisoning.

  • It is unlawful for any person unjustifiably to administer any poisonous drug or substance with intent that the same shall be taken by an animal, whether such animal be the property of himself or another, or whether the drug or substance be exposed upon such person's property, the private property of another, or any public place. Provided, that nothing herein shall be construed to prevent or restrict the animal control officer or health officer in the exercise and performance of the powers and duties set forth in this title. Provided further, that nothing herein shall be construed to prevent or restrict the eradication of animals commonly considered to be pests which are harmful or destructive to man, other animals or property or which are otherwise defined as a "vertebrate pest" by NRS 555.005.
