§ 8.40.050. License application—Hearing required.

After completion of the investigation of an applicant, the sheriff or his duly authorized deputy shall submit his findings to the director of business license who shall complete the processing of the application and place it on the agenda for action by the licensing board. The applicant shall appear in person before the board and shall be required to answer any and all questions deemed appropriate and necessary by the licensing board pertaining to such application, or the fitness of any persons connected as owners, officers or managers of the proposed establishment.
