§ 8.20.205. Changes in the ownership and management of a licensee.

Latest version.
  • All changes in the officers, directors, managers of limited liability companies, and other similarly situated managerial positions of a licensee must be reported to the director within twenty days of such change, and the report must be made in conjunction with the appropriate application for a finding of suitability for any new individual holding the position.

All changes in the ownership of a licensee must be reported to the director within ten days of such ownership change. If the ownership change does not cause the legal entity in which the license is vested to alter or change its business form/structure, then the ownership change shall be reported to the board as provided in Clark County Code Section 8.20.150. If, however, the ownership change does cause the legal entity in which the license is vested to alter or change its business form/structure, then the new owners must file for a new liquor license and related findings of suitability.
