§ 8.20.020.255. Package beer keg delivery license.

  • A "package beer keg delivery license" permits the sale of beer kegs in unopened original containers for off-premises consumption only. A package beer keg delivery license may be granted to a convenience store, tavern, main bar (except when issued in conjunction with a live entertainment venue), resort hotel, liquor store, grocery store, drug store, gift shop or a location limited to the exclusive sale of beer kegs as related to alcoholic sales only. Sale of beer kegs for delivery pursuant to this license shall allow the licensee to deliver beer kegs to any location within the unincorporated county, provided:

    (a)

    That the licensee keeps complete records as to:

    (1)

    Who the beer keg is purchased by as to delivery sales,

    (2)

    The address the beer keg is delivered to,

    (3)

    Who the beer keg is received by, and

    (4)

    The licensee is required to keep a log with the above-information for one year from the date of sale;

    (b)

    That beer kegs may not be delivered or received by minors. The licensee or his/her agent is responsible to check picture identification upon all delivery sales (at time of sale and time of delivery);

    (c)

    Delivery personnel must be twenty-one years of age and have a current liquor server awareness card pursuant to Section 8.20.255 of this chapter;

    (d)

    Delivery sales of beer kegs to minors or delivery to minors shall be grounds for disciplinary action in accordance with Chapter 8.08 of this code and may result in suspension or revocation of all liquor licenses held by the licensee at the licensed sales location.
