§ 8.20.020.152. Instructional wine-making facility.

  • (a) An "instructional wine-making facility" is a package business whose primary purpose is to provide a place to instruct patrons in the process of making wine licensed by the state of Nevada pursuant to Chapter 369 of the Nevada Revised Statutes and regulated pursuant to Chapter 597 of the Nevada Revised Statutes.

    (b)

    It is unlawful for minors to be on the premises of an instructional wine-making facility unless accompanied by their parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) and only for the purposes of observing and not participating in the wine-making and/or bottling processes;

    (c)

    It is unlawful for any wine made in the facility to be sold or held out for public or private sale;

    (d)

    This license allows the service of wine produced on the premises of the facility by the glass for consumption on the premises of the facility;

    (e)

    All wine produced at the facility must be either:

    (1)

    Used, consumed, or disposed of on the premises of the facility; or

    (2)

    Distributed from the facility to the person(s) who made the wine for their own household or personal use;

    (f)

    It shall be unlawful for a patron to remove more than sixty gallons of wine from the facility in any twelve month period.
