§ 7.50.130. Operating regulations.

  • (a) When operated on a highway, pedicabs must be operated in accordance with the "Nevada Traffic Laws" as defined in NRS 484, Clark County Code Title 14, and all other applicable traffic laws, rules and regulations;

    (b)

    Upon a passenger's request, operators shall provide a written receipt, signed by the operator;

    (c)

    Each pedicab, while in operation for the solicitation or transportation of passengers, shall be attended by the operator at all times;

    (d)

    Operators shall not stop to load or unload passengers or their belongings in the intersection of any street or any marked crosswalk. No operator shall load or unload such pedicab in any manner that will in any way impede or interfere with the orderly flow traffic on the street;

    (e)

    Operators shall not transport any more persons, including the operator, than the manufacturer's designated seating capacity for the pedicab;

    (f)

    Each licensee shall be responsible for the conduct of their employees during the course and scope of employment or affiliation. In any license revocation, suspension, condition, limitation, or nonrenewal proceeding, the fact that the licensee did not have actual knowledge of the events, shall be no defense.
