§ 7.36.040. Definitions.

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the words and terms defined in this section have the meanings ascribed to them herein, as follows:

(a)

"Outdoor sign" or "outside sign" as used in this chapter, means any sign visible to passers-by, whether the same shall be located within or without buildings;

(b)

"Wedding chapel rates" means the rate, charge or consideration at which weddings are performed or offered to be performed;

(c)

"Operator or owner" includes natural persons, firms, associations, partnerships and corporations. The word "operator" also includes managers or persons in charge of the operation of wedding chapels or like establishments at which weddings are performed.
