§ 7.26.010. Definitions.

  • As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the words and terms defined in this section have the meanings ascribed to them herein as follows:

    (1)

    "Aliens entitled to work in the United States" means an alien who is in possession of evidence of lawful admission to, or residence in, the United States, provided such proof of lawful admission or residence does not on its face restrict the alien's right to work; or an alien who is in possession of an authorization by the Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service, which allows the alien to remain in the United States, provided such authorization does not on its face restrict the alien's right to work.

    (2)

    "Employer" means any person partnership, association or corporation, which employs the services of another person for gain or hire.
