§ 6.90.010. Legislative findings.

The board of county commissioners of Clark County, based upon evidence presented to it at public hearings, finds that businesses not offering modeling services as defined in this chapter, advertise the availability of models which are not models, but are actually escorts or prostitutes, in violation of the law of the state of Nevada and the county of Clark, and adversely affecting the health, peace, safety, morals and general welfare of both the residents and tourists in Clark County. Therefore, to provide for the peace, health, safety and general welfare of the community, modeling services shall be regulated as set forth in this chapter.
