§ 6.82.110. Notice.

Upon approval of an application to hold a median strip solicitation, the business license department shall forward one copy of the permit to the metropolitan police department. The business license department shall make best efforts to reject or approve a permit application no later than forty-eight hours in advance of the median strip solicitation.

(a)

Permit Rejection. If the business license department finds that a permit should not be issued, it shall immediately notify the applicant of its action denying the permit, stating the reasons for denial in writing.

(b)

Permit Approval. Upon approval of a permit, the business license department shall be responsible for immediately notifying, by mail, the applicant as well as the metropolitan police department.
