§ 6.76.040. Investigation.

After the applicant has properly executed this form provided in Section 6.68.020, and made a deposit toward the cost of investigation, the director of business license shall forthwith submit the application, together with all other related information to the sheriff who shall conduct an investigation of the character, reputation and integrity of the applicant, and upon completion of his investigation, shall report his findings and recommendations to the director of business license, who shall place it on the agenda of the next regularly scheduled meeting of the board of county commissioners.
