§ 6.65.050. Bond required.

  • No license as required by this chapter shall be granted unless the applicant or an agent thereof has first paid to the director of business license at the time of the filing of the application, the fee prescribed in this chapter and unless there is first filed, by or on behalf of the applicant, with the sheriff at the time of the filing of the application, a bond executed to the county by a surety company duly authorized to so bond within this state. The bond shall be in an amount of not less than ten thousand dollars and shall be conditioned to be paid to the county for any persons suffering loss or injury by reason of any violation of the provisions of this chapter.
