§ 6.24.200. Motor vehicle pawn license.

Only a licensed pawnbroker who has obtained a motor vehicle pawn license shall loan money on deposit of title for a motor vehicle on condition of selling the same back again. For the purpose of this section, application shall be made to the director on forms provided by the department along with a processing fee and the fee set forth in Section 6.12.557.

The director, upon receipt of a completed application and required fees, shall issue a license to an applicant in good standing with a valid pawn broker's license for the limited purpose of motor vehicle pawn. Holders of a license for motor vehicle pawn shall follow all applicable regulations pursuant to Chapters 6.24 and 7.12.
