§ 6.20.025. Film liaisons.

  • The purpose of a film liaison is to provide the industry with a personal county contact to assist production companies in complying with county filming requirements and such coordinating activities with the county as the company may require to ensure a successful and timely shoot. Except as provided below, film liaisons are not mandatory but may be requested by the production company to be available on site of the shoot to ensure immediate attention to the shoot requirements as they relate to county regulations. Film liaisons shall be county employees who shall have successfully completed a training program on industry standards and requirements, such training program to be provided by industry, state and local jurisdictions. The production company shall be responsible to reimburse the county for the services of the liaisons at the applicable salary rate.

    Film liaisons shall be required when filming occurs at or on county facilities or county property whether owned or leased. The presence of such film liaison shall be at no charge to the film company.
