§ 6.150.005. Definitions.

Unless the context otherwise requires, the following words used in this chapter shall have the following meanings:

(A)

"Facility" means all real property, antennae, poles, wires, cables, conduits, amplifiers, instruments, appliances, fixtures and other personal property used by an SMATV system operator to provide service to subscribers.

(B)

"SMATV" means a facility or collection of facilities which is constructed in, on, under or over any private property and which is operated to receive the signals broadcast by one or more television stations or provided for public, educational or governmental purposes and to redistribute those signals to subscribers within a confined distribution area such as a hotel, hospital, office building, condominium development or apartment complex.

(C)

"Subscriber" means a person who lawfully receives services provided or distributed by an SMATV system.
