§ 6.135.020. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to:

(a)

Establish rules and regulations governing those aspects of the operations of video service providers over which the county has legal jurisdiction to the extent of federal and state law, and ensure that these rules are applied in a nondiscriminatory manner to all video service providers.

(b)

Ensure that video service providers fairly compensate the county for occupation and use of valuable local rights-of-way.

(c)

Establish the county's policy concerning right-of-way management for all video service providers.
