§ 6.12.927. Specialty merchandise store.

  • "Specialty merchandise store" means a retail store of not less than eighteen thousand square feet within a commercial center (as defined in Section 8.20.020 of this code) that: (1) has at least eleven thousand five hundred square feet of floor space dedicated to the display of furniture, glassware, kitchenware and other household goods; (2) has at least six thousand six hundred square feet of floor space dedicated to the display of gourmet foods and nonalcoholic beverages; and (3) maintains an inventory of beer, wine and spirit-based products with a wholesale value of at least twenty-five thousand dollars. The semiannual license fee shall be determined by the amount of semiannual gross revenue as contained in the schedule of Section 6.12.995 of this chapter.
