§ 6.12.870. Residential facilities for groups.

  • Defined as any facility or establishment which furnishes food, shelter, assistance, treatment and limited supervision to a person with physical disabilities, a person with intellectual disabilities, or a person who is aged or infirm or to four or more females during pregnancy or after delivery regardless of age. The term does not include: an establishment which provides care only during the day; an assisted living facility in a commercial zone; a natural person who provides care for one or more persons related to him within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity; or a facility funded by a division or program of the state department of health and human services pursuant to NRS Chapter 449. The semiannual license fee for this license shall be determined by the amount of semiannual gross revenue as contained in the schedule of Section 6.12.995 of this chapter.
