§ 6.12.852. Recreational vehicle park/campground.

  • Defined as any person who offers an area or tract of land where lots are rented or held out for rent to accommodate a recreational vehicle or where outdoor accommodations for camping are provided.

    (a)

    Every person operating a recreational vehicle park/campground shall pay a semiannual license fee according to the following schedule: for one to eighteen spaces or lots, sixty dollars; nineteen to thirty spaces or lots, seventy-five dollars; thirty-one to fifty spaces or lots, ninety dollars; fifty-one to eighty spaces or lots, one hundred five dollars; eighty-one to one hundred spaces, one hundred fifteen dollars; and for one hundred one spaces or lots and over, one dollar and fifty cents per space or lot.

    (b)

    In addition to the above semiannual license fees, if a recreational vehicle park/campground is renting to transient guests as that term is defined in Chapter 4.08 of this code, then taxes must also be charged according to the rates set forth in Chapters 4.08, 4.09 and 4.10 of this code.
