§ 6.12.687. Martial arts.

  • Any person who offers martial arts instruction to customers shall pay an annual license fee of one hundred fifty dollars. Martial arts means any self-defense or combatant sport, activity or skill such as, but not limited to, aikido, hapkido, judo, jui jitsu, karate, kendo, kung fu, or tae kwon-do. This includes the sale of supplies, uniforms, materials and accessories associated with the business. Every martial arts instructor must also obtain a valid work card pursuant to Chapter 6.10 of this title.
