§ 6.12.575. Health and fitness center master license.

  • Any business with equipment and facilities for the maintenance or development of physical fitness or the control of weight that does not fall within the purview of Chapter 7.08 of this code shall pay a semiannual license fee determined by the amount of semiannual gross revenue as contained in the schedule of Section 6.12.995 of this chapter. A health and fitness center master license may also provide refreshments, food, and retail sales, but does not include privileged or regulated activities which require separate licensure, amusement machines, or tobacco permits. If any portion of an health and fitness center is leased, a separate license is required for that portion leased by the leaseholder.
