§ 6.12.350. Construction cleanup.

  • Any business that removes construction material from construction sites (including, but not limited to wood, plaster, metals, asphaltic substances, brick, block, concrete and excavation dirt, rock, stone and gravel) and transports said construction materials to a disposal site operated by the county or its franchise shall pay an annual license fee of one hundred fifty dollars. Construction materials does not include uncontaminated soil, rock, stone, gravel, unused brick, unused block, or unused concrete if they are separate from other solid waste construction or demolition debris and are to be used as clean fill. If clean fill, see the definition of gravel yard in Chapter 9.04 of this code. No refuse or sorting of materials may be processed on the site. A separate license is required for the collection of personal recyclables.
