§ 6.125.010. Policy.

The board of commissioners of Clark County hereby declares as a matter of legislative determination that:

(A)

The telephone solicitations business as conducted in Clark County has included business which defraud the consumer by failing and refusing to deliver goods sold or promised, and by offering and promising goods and products which are deliberately misrepresented as to quality and price.

(B)

The licensing and regulatory measures herein established are necessary and reasonably calculated to protect the consumer by licensing only those businesses which demonstrate good moral character and a capability of providing customer satisfaction.
