§ 6.04.096. Temporary licenses for similar business activities at a currently licensed location.

  • (a) For a certain business that will be operated on the premises of and at the same location as another business that already holds a valid, unexpired Clark County business license for the same use, and which is not located within a postal mailing center, and is not a home occupation per Section 29.20.090, the director may, upon an applicant's request, and the filing of a complete business license application, payment of all fees and satisfaction of all requirements of this section, issue a temporary business license while the application process is being completed. A temporary business license shall expire forty-five working days from the date of issuance or earlier upon written notice from the director of a violation of this code. The director shall not issue a temporary business license unless and until all state licensing requirements have been met.

    (b)

    Temporary licensees are subject to all Clark County Code provisions except as otherwise provided for herein.
