§ 3.64.040. Duties.

The commission shall:

(a)

Identify the various Asian-American communities in the county;

(b)

Identify the population of each community;

(c)

Identify the leaders and organizations of each community;

(d)

Identify the social and economic needs peculiar to each community and the Asian-American community in general;

(e)

Research and describe the history of each community; and

(f)

Propose legislation for the sixty-ninth session of the legislature to address the problems of the Asian-American communities identified by the commission. The commission shall solicit sponsorship of proposed legislation by a duly elected state legislator.
