The Clark County board of commissioners shall appoint up to a total of six members,
consisting of one representative representing the private nonprofit organizations,
two representatives from business enterprises, one representative from the Hotel Resort
Association, one homeless person or formerly homeless person representative, and one
representative from the metropolitan police department homeless enforcement liaison
program (H.E.L.P.). The Las Vegas city council shall appoint up to a total of six
members, consisting of one representative representing the private nonprofit organizations,
one representative from a business enterprise, one representative representing private
health services, one representative from the Downtown Partners Association, one homeless
person or formerly homeless person representative, and one representative of the Southern
Nevada Homeless Coalition. The board of county commissioners and the Las Vegas city
council will also be requested to ratify up to fourteen designated representatives
of the local United States Department of Housing and Urban Development office, the
state of Nevada, Clark County and the city of Las Vegas, as presented.
