§ 3.12.040. Meetings.

Latest version.
  • The planning commission established in this chapter shall hold at least one regular meeting in each month, and may hold such other meetings, either regular or special, as circumstances may require or render desirable for the performance of its function and the proper discharge of its duties and responsibilities. A quorum of the commission is required to transact its business. A quorum is a majority of the members of the commission, that is four, unless a member declares he will abstain because of a conflict of interest, bias or improper pressure. Then the necessary quorum to act upon the matters and the numbers of votes necessary to act is reduced as though the members abstaining were not members of the commission. A member shall declare his intention to abstain prior to or concurrently with the performance of his duty to the chairman and other members of the commission.
