§ 30.40.200. Purpose of C-1, Local Business District.

This district is established to provide for the development of retail business uses or personal services and to serve as a convenience to neighborhoods and limited local markets. The intent of the district is for sites which are typically on a site less than ten (10) acres except for mixed use development which shall require a site of ten (10) acres or more. See Table 30.56-2 (Design Standards) for additional design standards. Additional restrictions and special design standards are required for properties within the CMA Area Design, Mixed Use, Red Rock Design, and Transition Corridor Overlay Districts (see Chapter 30.48, respective PART).
