§ 2.24.010. Authority to issue summons.

  • Except when otherwise expressly directed by law or ordinance, upon any violation of any ordinance of the county of Clark, the county sheriff and his deputies; the fire chief, his deputies and assistants; the building inspector, his deputies and assistants; the health department director, his deputies and assistants; and all other officers, inspectors and employees charged with the enforcement of county ordinances in lieu of arresting the person committing the violation in any unincorporated town of Clark County, may prepare, sign, and serve on the accused person a written summons to appear in the justice's court of the township in which said violation occurred to answer such charge. Such summons shall be personally served on the person accused.
