§ 20.09.060. TNC transportation requirements.

  • (a) TNC and each TNC driver shall strictly comply with the following transportation requirements:

    (1)

    TNC Driver and Vehicle Requirements. TNC shall certify in a form determined by the director of aviation demonstrating the following criteria have been met;

    (A)

    Every TNC and TNC driver shall comply with all Nevada Revised Statutes, County Ordinances or other such governmental regulations, whether municipal, state, or federal, including, but not limited to, all environmental laws, and will immediately, upon request, verify compliance to any such requirement.

    (B)

    TNC and/or TNC driver has and shall maintain a valid Clark County Business license and shall at al times abide by any and all regulations of the authority.

    (2)

    TNC Driver Identification. TNC shall provide the director of aviation with a unique identifier for each TNC driver who conducts business on airport property. The required unique identifier data is further described in the agreement or operating permit.

    Further, in the event the director of aviation determines that it requires TNC driver identification information for rules and regulations and/or operating directives enforcement, TNC shall provide such information to the director of aviation as requested within ten calendar days. This information shall be provided to the director of aviation electronically and TNC shall promptly respond to all such inquiries from the director of aviation and/or enforcement personnel from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department-Airport Bureau.

    (3)

    Suspension of Pick-Up and/or TNC Driver Privileges. In the event that the director of aviation determines, in their sole discretion, to suspend TNC's passenger pick-up and/or TNC driver privileges, TNC shall promptly effect this prohibition through its application technology, such as by blocking out airport property as a location available for pick-up or taking other steps as necessary to inform its TNC drivers and/or customers of the prohibition.

    (4)

    Electronic Waybills. TNC drivers must be prepared to present an electronic waybill to any law enforcement officer or representative of the department of aviation upon request.

    (5)

    TNC Notice to TNC Drivers. TNC shall promptly notify TNC drivers of any and all current changes to Title 20 or the airport's rules and regulations and operating directives and shall promptly notify the director of aviation, in writing, that it has done so within ten calendar days.

    Further, each time an individual TNC driver fails to comply with the conditions of Title 20 and/or the airport's rules and regulations and operating directives:

    (1)

    Brought to TNC's attention by the director of aviation, TNC shall promptly notice such TNC driver, direct the TNC driver to immediately come into compliance, and TNC shall promptly notify the director aviation in writing, that it has done so within ten calendar days and;

    (2)

    Such failure is discovered by TNC, then TNC shall promptly notice such TNC driver and direct the TNC driver to immediately come into compliance.
