§ 19.08.030. Governing body.

  • The board of county commissioner is the governing body of the parks and recreation improvement district and may:

    (a)

    Maintain or establish public parks within it;

    (b)

    Employ personnel necessary to carry out that purpose;

    (c)

    Provide for the use of revenue received by the district, including the use of personnel or contracts of the county or the city for services within the boundary of a city, pursuant to interlocal government; and

    (d)

    Hold meetings as the governing body of the district in conjunction with its meetings as the board of county commissioners without posting additional notices of the meetings within the district.
