§ 19.04.010. Applicability of chapter—Public parks, special facilities, county permitted event, and youth athletic event defined.

  • The rules and regulations adopted by the board of commissioners of Clark County shall govern the public parks and special facilities of the county.

    "County permitted event" for the purpose of this chapter shall include any activity or event for which approval has been granted by the board of county commissioners, the county manager or his or her designee, or the director of the Clark County department of parks and recreation.

    "Public parks" for the purpose of this chapter shall include all parks dedicated, owned, or operated and maintained by Clark County.

    "Special facilities" for the purpose of this chapter shall include facilities dedicated, owned, or operated and maintained by Clark County for specialized or single-purpose recreational or cultural activities, which include, but are not limited to: golf courses, museums, equine and canine facilities, recreation/community/cultural centers and recreation camps.

    "Youth athletic event" for the purpose of this chapter shall include any activity or event relating to exercise, sport, or game and engaged in by individuals or groups under eighteen years of age.
