§ 19.04.003. Park police division—Powers.

(1) While engaged in the actual performance of prescribed duties, officers of the park police division shall have those powers of a peace officer, as defined in applicable state statutes.

(2)

While engaged in the actual performance of prescribed duties, park police officers shall be empowered to enforce all applicable state statutes, county ordinances and county park regulations within the boundaries of any county park and county parks and recreation facilities, and immediate vicinity as the situation warrants, when pursuing an individual who has committed a violation in said facilities.
