§ 18.04.020. Exceptions.

This chapter shall not apply to the following:

(a)

Any person doing business with the county purchasing agent or any elected county official;

(b)

The servicing of machines or equipment owned or operated by Clark County, or the servicing of any continuing contract for the purchase of supplies;

(c)

Any person, firm or corporation calling upon an elected official or subordinate employee to said elected official in response to a call or invitation from such official or subordinate and with reference to a county contract or order for the purchase of supplies or equipment;

(d)

Any person, firm or corporation while engaged in obtaining information relative to any invitation to bid extended by the board of county commissioners;

(e)

Any person, firm or corporation holding contract concession rights with Clark County and acting within the limits of the rights and privileges granted by such contract.
