§ 16.06.110. Compliance.

  • Prior to issuance of a permit under this chapter, all applicable ordinances, rules and regulations shall be complied with and all required permits and licenses shall be secured in connection with such special event, or the proposed activities associated therewith including, but not limited to, charitable solicitations, collections or acceptance of gratuities, the sale of food, beverages or other merchandise, or the use of candles, torches, fires or other combustibles, including pyrotechnics.

    The Clark County department of business license may require the applicant to obtain any appropriate business license or a bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in this state to cover any stated prize or gratuity advertised to the contestants of the special event.
