§ 15.08.060. License or permit to be approved by sheriff.

By cooperative agreement between the governmental authorities of the county and any of the municipalities in the county, the issuance of any license or permit for the business or conduct of taxicab operations, or the driving of any taxicab within the boundaries of any municipality, shall be conditioned upon the prior approval thereof by the office of the sheriff, and submission to, and complete and continued compliance with all the provisions of this title, as applicable. Such cooperative agreements may provide for the payment of all license, franchise, and permit fees, hereunder or otherwise prescribed, to Clark County, Nevada, and for proper periodical distribution or apportionment of such fees to the governmental entities entitled thereto.
