§ 14.42.050. Exemptions.

The following persons are exempt from the restriction of Sections 14.42.030, 14.42.035(a) and 14.42.040:

(a)

Persons operating, driving or propelling animal drawn vehicles or rickshaws on private property located in the business district;

(b)

Persons operating, driving or propelling pedicabs or EPAMDs on private property located in the restricted area;

(c)

Persons operating, driving or propelling animal-drawn vehicles, pedicabs or rickshaws in any parade for which a permit has been issued pursuant to Chapter 6.84 of this code;

(d)

Persons using, driving or operating an EPAMD in the restricted area who have a disability or a medical condition that necessitates the use of the EPAMD; and

(e)

Persons exempted by federal law while operating on interstate highways.
