§ 12.28.020. Definitions.

As used in this chapter "state of emergency" means an emergency proclaimed as such by the sheriff pursuant to Section 12.28.030.
"Sheriff" means the sheriff of Clark County or in case of his absence or inability to discharge the powers and duties of his office, then the person next in command of the Clark County sheriff's department.
