§ 10.32.160. Chick, duckling, baby rabbit sales or gift.

It is unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale, barter or give away baby chicks, ducklings, other fowl under four weeks of age or rabbits under two weeks of age, as pets or novelties. This chapter shall not be construed to prohibit the display or sale of natural chicks, rabbits, ducklings or other fowl, in the proper breeder facilities by hatcheries, or stores engaged in the business of selling the same to be raised for commercial purposes.
